Safe-Deposit Box Of Diapers

I am finally updating because I was on a one-month LJ abstinence vow.

Break was relaxing. It consisted of hanging out with Beth and Rachel quite a bit. We watched TV on DVD and clubbed. The family aspect was nice. Christmas Eve and Day were excellent. I got lots of good stuff most of which I forget about at the moment. New Year’s Eve was among the top three nights of my break. Ray, Beth, Michael, and I went to Ellen’s New Year’s bash. Besides the spilt Captain’s, the night was a smash. I cannot wait to hang with that group again soon!

I worked a ton. I garnered over $1,000 in those four weeks. I am pretty happy about that. I especially enjoyed my time at Target during this month for some reason. After student teaching for 18 weeks, serving food in a relaxing environment was not so bad after all! Also, the executive staff has never been better. The store manager is so wonderful. He is competent, caring, and charming. My immediate superiors love me and I love them. I was very sorry to leave that sweet plum of a position vacant.

I watched way too much TV on DVD during my time at home. Favorites include complete seasons of “Earl”, “SNL”, “The Simpsons”, and “Home Improvement”. I still have a few more boxed sets left to get me through this upcoming semester.

Tomorrow is day one of official student teaching. Fourth grade awaits! I am nervous and excited blah blah blah. It should be fine. ISU has student teachers completing more complete bullshit assignments during this period. They look to be pretty difficult and time-consuming. I cannot believe I may have a teaching position in as little as three months!

I hope you are all doing well. Continued good luck in 2008!
