Banana Split Personality
I am doing this out of pure obligation. If that does not get you to read on, I do not know what will.
School is becoming too crazy to update regularly anymore. I have a quota per month to fill that I never reach. September 2007 was the worst yet, with only four updates. Pathetic! I guess it is good I am spending so much time writing lesson plans and doing schoolwork. Unfortunately, LiveJournal suffers as a result. Basically, I will keep attempting to make time at least once a week. So, if I fail to update for a while, do not think I fell off the face of the earth.
I went home this weekend. My parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows. There was a lovely church ceremony on Saturday afternoon. Aviva was the cutest flower girl ever. I kicked ass as an usher. They gave me a gorgeous leather wallet for all my help. From there, everyone went to a fancy Italian restaurant. Our group of 70 had the whole place to ourselves. The food was amazing, the wine was flowing, and the conversations were happening. I really liked visiting with these people who I only see once or twice a year. Then, my grandparents had about 20 over for an after party. I had a lot of 7-Up and vodka. Saturday was just crazily fun and busy. I am still recovering from the craziness.
I got to hang out with Rachel and Billy all three nights I was home! We watched “Earl” and “Office” Friday, went to “Across The Universe” late Saturday night, and they came over for the “Desperate” premiere and buffalo wings at my house. They left at the last possible minute when I had to go to the bus stop! We had a fun time as always.
I am so glad I tortured myself through the week to make sure all my homework was done so I did not have to worry about any of it over the weekend. Totally worth it.
There is no more time to update. I have to write a three-part lesson plan now. Bye.
