much needed update
Well, its been a while. We are officially half-way through TBS, and we are starting to earn our title of FROZEN Fox company. Just a summary of what I have done so far. We started out with MCMAP (marine corps martial arts program) where we earned our Tan belt, then 2 weeks at the rifle/pistol range. Hiking there and back everyday was a "fun" expierience. We officially completed land navigation (well we still have the night land nav final....) We did FEX (field expierience) I and FEX II is next week. We did our 6,9, and then our 12 mile hike today. We survived the gas chamber, played with TNT and C4, I got to be a patrol leader and ride up front in a helicopter, attack with live fire at day and night down a range, conduct a night ambush using NVG's (night vision goggles), learned how to call for fire, had our MOS mixer, pulled the lanyard for artillery, went to the Marine corps birthday ball, did the double obstacle course and the endurance course, and sat through a million classes, discussion groups,and sand table excersizes. It has been hard at times, but the fun stuff and the people that I work with make it definitely worth it. I love answering questions if you have any. I dont really have that much of a life, except on weekends when I am not writting orders:) Well that is pretty much the long and the short of it all... hope you all are getting some snow wherever you are at as well !
