I start Marine Corps OCS in 18 days !! I can hardly contain my excitement !!!! The last month has been spent mostly substitute teaching at Northview HS and running/training. We had a pre-ocs weekend which was AWESOME. We froze our behinds off because we slept in tents with no sleeping bags, ate MRE's, ran a PFT, did an Obstacke course, learned ALOT ALOT of useful info, stimulated fireteam formations and buddy rushes ( bang bang bang bang bang !!!), motavational cadence run, land navigation and SULE (small unit leadership evaluation) situation. I was exhausted with haveing only a few hours of rest, but I made up for it with all the adrenaline and motivation that was present in each person there. The only let down was that after it was over, I have to wait a month for the real thing !! Next week I will be in Las Vegas takin care of my new nephew, yay ! Other than being excited, nothing else to really report. I dont know if I will remember to post, or will have anything worth posting before I leave... Hopefully my next post will be as a 2nd Lieutenant of the U.S. Marine Corps !!!!!!! OOO-RAH !!!!!!! SEMPER FI !!!!!!!!!!!!
