the status quo
Not too much has really changed in the past couple week
student teaching going well, over half way through! I have learned alot from other teachers, and I will really miss the kids when I am finished teaching, even if i do get frustrated every now and then with them:)
I went to pensacola last weekend...it was AWESOME to say the least. Rank in my top 10 weekends ever. It was just so perfect. Started out with a smooth ride down there (didnt get lost and I had alot of time to "think" on the way down) He planned the weekend very well. Went out to eat with some of his friends, I finally watched Braveheart... He lives right on the beach so I got to go stand in the ocean under a full moon, I could have stood out there all night. He makes one heck of an omlette! Then he showed me around base and looked around the Naval Aviation museum. Then it was time to set up camp on the penninsula...then off to gamenight. I didnt even care that we lost TABOO (I am usually very competitive) b/c i was having fun. Then we "suited up" to kayak across from his house to the penninsula. Its a funny story gettin over there, basically there was a big barge that we didnt realize was a big barge until we were a couple hundred yrds away. After we got over there we hit the sack on the beach....wow it was beautiful, hard to fall asleep knowing when you are laying on the beach, under a full moon next to one of your best friends, but eventually i did. I awoke with a crab on my forehead, haha, no worries. Then preceded to lay on the beach and watch the sunrise and enjoy being on the beach before we kayaked back to eat breakfast and get ready to snorkel! After a few trips back to the car, we geared up, only to realize the water wasnt clear enough...so we just played in the ocean until i had to pack up to head home ... :(
Someone recently asked me the question "are you happy" to which I didnt know exactly how to respond, but I can definitely say the answer is YES. I dont think he reads this, but just in case, lol. OK, gotta get some sleep while I can ! G'night and Godbless ~A.M.D.G.~Bridget
