Do you wear riding gloves? I never did. Then my instructor said I had to ride in gloves as they're required in show. Then I ended up blistering if I ever rode without them because if you give an ounce with the reins, Cracker will take all the rein so I'm constantly sliding the reins back and forth. I dumped Green Spot Remover on my regular riding gloves and haven't replaced them since we're just plunking around but I actually miss them for smacking bugs away!

Hey, it took me like..17 years to get past my canter issue! Granted, like 16 of those years I wasn't riding, but still ;) 1.5 years isn't bad!
