I love these kids....
So one of my fourth graders came up to me today after they got back from recess. I had a few kids come up before her to tattle on someone in another class, so I had assumed she was going to tell me the same thing. Instead, she said to me "I like your face. It's pretty! I think you're pretty."!!! I almost hit the floor! She's always been a sweet girl, but she's pretty shy and doesn't talk to teachers she's not really familiar with (and since I work in two classrooms, she doesn't see me terribly often). I told her that was the sweetest thing I had ever heard, and told her I like her face too. What a cute compliement!
