Been thinking about consequences in general in TVD. Damon is not getting any consequences for what he did to Caroline and to Andie. But... neither is Stefan experiencing negative effects of the fact that he isn't really open and honest with Elena at all. Even though he prides himself on it. Elena should know by now that he hides most of his past and feelings from her, until he has no choice. If she wants somebody to trust and respect, why is she still with Stefan?
Stefan attacked Damon because he took Elena's choice away/ didn't respect her wish to die. So why did he take Damon's choice away when Damon decided on a quick death? Specially since he did that before?
ONTD had a post up today about season three. So Meredith is going to show up. Not sure what I think about that.
Worst is (IMO) that they are going to continue messing with the character of Damon. Paraphrasing here but he is going to continue struggling with his humanity and relapsing. They have been doing this for at least a season and a half. I'm kinda over it.
I just want them to resolve the situation for him already. The angstyness, him chasing Elena, his feeling inadequate, but what I'm specially not looking forward to is more Andie-like situations. I just want them to stop making him seem so ridiculous. How am I to sympathize with a character who keeps being really abusive?
