I am soooooooo loved!!!

Chris sent me the biggest, most beautiful boquet I have ever seen...I have never gotten flowers at the office from a significant other before, and it makes me feel so special and wonderful. I wish he was here...I would kiss him to the ground. Gawd, I love my husband!!!!! They're white roses and carnations...next to lilacs, those are my favorite flowers. I can't believe he remembered....my bag 'o chips. Yeah. *satisfied sigh*

I had a physical today for the first time in many years. I got a tetnus shot. OUCH! But other than losing weight and maintaining my diet so I don't become a diabetic, everthing looked good to the doctor. He gave me a perscription for my happy pills...70.00 a month. OUCH!! But the cost is worth it, because they make me sane.

I've gotten chewed out by some dumbass waitress who trained for a week and a half then sent a friend in with her apron and shirt the day her first shift was scheduled. She thinks I messed up her payroll, but I did not mess up her payroll, and I sent it to the addres she provided the company. I don't know why she hasn't received it yet, I'm not a mailman, but I told her we would provide her a check from the restaurant (we're talking a whopping 47.40 here) if she'd like to call her GM and give him her new address. She thinks it's MY job to call him. I think NOT. She continued harassing me, so I hung up. She called back, threatened to have my job, told me what a b!tch I was, ect ect. I told her if she calls again I'm calling the cops and pressing harrasment charges.

Little clue for anyone in a restaurant job who leaves without notice - if you have a problem receiving your last pay, call the restaurant. If you're too embarressed to talk to the managers, for the love of gawd, let it go. The admin folk at the corporate office don't handle your employee file, don't know you, don't know your situation, and don't have a grudge against you. At most, they type the payroll numbers in and deliver checks to the restaurants. What happens after that is NOT their problem.

Anyway, I need to get back to work. I hope you're all having a wonderful, romantic, beautiful Valentine's day.

holidays, work, illness, chris, depression
