Drinking four cups of diet green tea at around 10:00p.m. is a bad idea. Apparently, the stuff is caffeinated. Who knew??? (Shaddup.) So if you do it and you're up till 3:00a.m., playing SecondLife to entertain yourself because your eyes won't close and your brain won't stop buzzing, then you finally log off even though you're still not tired ( Read more... )

SL is one of those places that I'll go and completely immerse myself for a couple of weeks, and then not touch it for months. And then one day I need a new desktop picture, go in to take pictures of Kaeko, and there you go...immersed again. :o)

My avatar is all that and a bag of chips - and more Linden dollars went into making her that way then I would care to admit to! LOL! Since I have no marketable skills in SL and gambling's not my thing (although I will play Slingo from time to time), basically I spend my second life shopping. It's such a release too. Bad hair day? Never. Buy new hair. Love that outfit? Don't have to worry about how it will fit - one size fits all! And a girl can NEVER have too many shoes. :o) I love it. I see my new apartment as a showcase for all of the things I've never got to buy before...furniture. YAY! I can't spend money like that IRL...and I really like spending money. :oD

I usually don't drink caffeine in the evenings, either...actually, I rarely drink anything but water anymore, because 120oz's of water a day is a LOT of water, and I seldom need anything else. I just didn't realize this was caffeinated till I looked down and saw the clock reading 2am and realized I was so wired I couldn't sleep if I wanted to. OUCH!

Now that surprises me. As you love clothes and shoes, why not try designing them ingame as a potential job? Doesn't really require qualifications, ingame or out of game, surely?
