*happy morning stretches!*
I met up with ohiorenaissance and fracturedbethy last night as planned, and it was really a lot of fun!! Erin and Laurie are both easy to listen and to talk to, and they were cool to chill with them. :o) They're both warm, down to earth people and it was fun to laugh and get to know them. I'm only sorry it was over so quickly, but I told them I would plan an LJ trip to the Ohio Rens Fest this year so we could all hang out again - which means that anyone else who lives around here or who feels like traveling in is also welcome to chime in now and say they want to come too!
Erin brought me a very generous gift, of which I am truly appreciative...he really didn't have to do that, and it's because he didn't have to that it was so very kind. Thank you again, Sir Erin. :o)
We had dinner at Max & Ermas, and as usual it was delicious. I love their salmon. And we shared chocolate chip cookies afterwards................yummy!! :o) Everyone else was a good boy or girl, but I had a glass of white zin with my dinner. I know, I know...friends don't let friends drink white zin. But my friends did, and I like white zin, so that made me happy!
We talked about kids and cats and writing and everything under the sun. Poor Laurie had to say goodbye three times before we actually let her go. And Erin promised (ok, well, I inferred a promise which means dammit he better come through!!!! lol) to write more often, because some of us out here love to read his writing, and he has this tendency to let the real world interfer with entertaining us. ENTERTAIN ME!!!!!!!!! ;o)
And look at all those pesky emoticons again....Ugh. I really, really have to start eradicating them from my writing. Really.
But not this morning because it's breakfast time. ;o) Love y'all!
