Got the fiesta fixed, it starts on the button now, better than it's ever been - WOO YAY !!
230 quid for the pleasure though. Ouch.
The stereo seems to be fubar though, the clip that holds the face plate on has magically broken itself off, even though I've not been in the car for a week. Not to worry, was gonna replace that stereo anyway.
I'm driving in to work, the heavens open. Put on the wiper and 5 minutes later the things decide to go mental !!
The left arm goes up the top of the screen but then decides to show its strength and attack the right arm.
It carries on, right the way onto the right side of the screen, hitting the right arm, which then leaps off the right side of the screen into midair.
The right arm, having none of it then leaps back on to the windscreen, hitting the left arm, and forcing it downward into the bottom of the screen, where it dies.
The right arm is battered, bent, but victorious. However, it no longer clears the screen of rain, right in front of my face.

I pull off the motorway an exit early and travel some back roads in, peering through a rain soaked screen, with a limping right arm feebling swishing some rain away each time, but only in the smallest of amounts.
Gotta hope someone here has some tools that will let me tighten the arms on enough to get me home.
