its about time for an update

well, i suppose i should write a little of my life in the past three hectic days. as you can guess, school started on wednesday--it was a wierd first day, but im determined to keep my optimism rolling along the whole year. i like school and i love the people, but i know that with work and after school/on the side stuff, plus stinkin hard classes, im gonna have to find ways to deal with some major stress. and today that seemed to be working just fine, lol.
what natalie did today to get rid of stress:
1. ran with the boys cross country team for a grueling workout--haha, they think im officially on the team now, oh no--but it was kind of fun being the only girl--we need some girls on that team!
2. treated myself to a gatorade from the school pop machine-sounds silly, but i dont do that often, and it was worth every penny!
3. well, i didnt do this, but matt was really sweet and while i was running wrote me a cute note and then set my cd player to one of his songs for me when i started the car- thanks matt :)
4. went to go babysit, but then michelle didnt need me, but i wanted time with the kids, so i took gabby and liam to the park--we met two girls i talked to earlier again and another little first grader. by the end of the half hour, i had four little girls calling, "natalie" or gabby- "na-E"- mostly because they wanted me to push them on the swings, lol.
it was awesome!i cant believe i get paid to do the best job in the world...liam had gabby laughing hysterically at the park and i sat back cracking up too- i love to hear kids laugh- its that contagious, innocent, ongoing, laughing-at-anything-and-everything laugh you just gotta love!
the two girls at the park asked if i would babysit them sometime- i said sure, but i know that they have a rough home life and their mom is on disability, so i just plan on spending quality time with them at the park--darcy, the oldest, asked if i would be their mom for them, then told me that i probably wouldnt get along with their dad- she was serious, lol, i couldnt believe it.
i hope that i am a good role model for little girls--there are so many girls out there who simply need someone who encourages them to do good, and shows them that that is possible and then those little girls grow up to be amazing women! these girls are just two of them. when we first met, i taught them this little clap game, and they constantly update me on their improvement--something so simple, but i see their faces light up every time i cheer them on to keep practicing and have fun...

well, i guess thats enough--ryan is waiting to talk on messenger, lol...have a good night guys- im got it off and im taking advantage of it--tomorrow's schedule includes playing piano for the church choir at 8:30, then paint barrels, lol, and then work 12-8...fun fun...:)
