one good day
linette, potter, sarah, reilly, and i went canoing on the kankakee river yesterday. it was a blast. we drank a lot, peed like cats (don't ask), laughed at potter and sarah when they flipped their canoe, got some sun, etc. i'll post pictures when i get my usb cord from mom's.
when we got back to the car and, therefore, our phones, i had 3 voicemails. one didn't matter, the 2nd one was mom telling me that my car was all fixed for free, and the 3rd one was from the RISE Worth campus principal, telling me to call him tomorrow. after much calling around, i found out that i got the high school teaching position at the Worth campus! i'm so excited. i'm actually going to have money to my name, now.
yesterday was just so wonderful. it was one of those fantastically relaxing days, just spending time with your friends, doing something out of the ordinary. i couldn't have asked for a better day.
