Great crossover. This is the first House/SPN crossover I've read and it worked really well. The premise was interesting and the characters seemed very like the characters in the series.

Yeah, I thought the combo worked really well, too! (since Sam and Dean are always putting themselves in the hospital ...) Glad you enjoyed!

Nice blend of both settings, with IC interactions. ♥ Especially like how you got the look & feel of all the different 'Sam's' across. I slightly missed lil kid!Sam, who should also be running around in his head, but I suppose he wouldn't really have added much relevance to this storyline. Thanks for writing!

I only just now realized I'd completely forgotten to include my author's notes! in which I explain I was using Sam's 3 personalities from the last episode of season 6, but yeah, if I put ALL the personalities that are probably kicking around in there, kid!Sam would have been a great one! (I posted my notes as a comment to this fic, if you're interested in seeing them.) Thanks for commenting. :-D

I see. ^^ Like I said, it was a great exploration. The alternative of House and team being right would have been cool to see too. How that would influence Sam and Dean's character and how they would try to relate to people in this new frame/worldview. Or alternatively (with all the supernatural totally real) let House & team try different treatments and watch them break their heads over it having zero effect.

Oh, man, I love both these ideas!! Its turning out (or at least, convincingly seeming like) it was all in Sam and Dean's minds would make for a great SPN episode!

Good work, I loved House and the brothers talking still not understanding each other. I'm just surprised that none of the ducklings told somebody about the Winchesters being there (at least Foreman)

Haha, I'm glad you got that was what I was going for, that they totally think they're speaking the same language and totally aren't. (I mentioned that in my author's notes, which I forgot to include! I posted them as a comment farther down.) I like "ducklings" for House's underlings, too--I guess that makes him Father Goose. ;-)

Yes, "ducklings". I spent a lot of time in the House fandom.
If House is Father Goose than Cuddy or Wilson (depending if you prefer het or slash) would be Mother Goose ;)

Totally! I think I vote for Wilson, but I could go either way .... ;-)

The SPN/House cross you mentioned!

I love the medicalization (attempted medicalization?) of Sam here. The idea that all of Supernatural's supernatural bullshit can track neatly into House's medical mystery bullshit is superbly interesting. I love what the scan picked up for soulless and/or wall shattered Sam, and how House and his team tried to interpret it. I couldn't place exactly why, but my favorite part of this fic was the interactions between House and his team when House puts MPD on the whiteboard. My undying love for House's whiteboard aside, the dialogue there felt extremely, extremely true to form. Great work!

I really loved that whiteboard scene, too, because I got to play with all my favorite House characters (except Wilson) ... although my favorite scene is poor hallucinating Sam freaking out, because there's barely anything I love more than SAM!ANGST--POOR SAAAAAMMMM!!!! Glad you liked it! I thought of you while I was writing it.
