LOCKED

Most vapid posts about fashion, girlcrushes, and hot british actors are public. Words, thoughts, and complaining about circus training are locked. Every thing you need to know about me is below the cut!

UNE FEMME EST UNE FEMMEMy name is Alexandra and I have about a million nicknames (Ally and Xandy are the most popular - but Alex, Lexie, Xana, will suffice. Or you can make up a new one, I don't really mind).

I am a 22 year old costume design graduate, book nerd, part-time ballerina, and full time contortionist. I am creative, vain, comical, easygoing, optimistic, aloof, patient, and moody. The most important thing you need to know about me is that I am an escapist with an enormous imagination and a big heart. I like to color my life with whimsicality and unrealistic, blithe fictional romances. I'm not very elitist about who I add to my friends list, but I can be a little shy, so if you think we would be compatible feel free to add me!

I am in a circus troupe called Kinetic Theory and I study contortion as my main focus, with a little bit of mime and acrodance thrown in. I occassionally post pictures of skill progression, so if contortion bothers you I would recommend not friending me. With circus life often comes circus drama, so if you are intrigued by eccentricity and my motley troupe of circus people, then welcome to the fun house of my life.

I love period films and 1960's it girls. At times I can be a complete history nerd and ramble on about one of my favorite fierce historical bitches. Audrey Hepburn and Anna Karina will always be my eternal girlcrushes and spirit animals. If I were to describe myself in terms of fictional characters, I would be a hybrid of Charlotte 'Chuck' Charles, Amelie Poulain, Amy Pond, Fuschia Groan, and April from Definitely, Maybe. I am the_fucking Morgana le Fay of Livejournal.
