To the second random quote I exclamed an "aww" You seem lighthearted, but at some point were a self loather. Now everyone embraces that which you did not like, your outer self, and it is turning into a wonderful self-lovefest. In a sense.
Sorry, my stomach hurts for food now, so I must eat, and then if the "muse" strikes, I will write again!
I got a whole lot of Oprah Winfrey quotes, but there were a few interesting ones.
Two I find agreeable or at least interesting:
"Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its orginal dimensions" -Oliver Wendell Holmes
"Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but the thing dies in the process and the innards are discouraging to any but the pure scientific mind." -E.B. White
And here's one I disagree with:
"The moment a little boy is concerned with which is a jay and which is a sparrow, he can no longer see the birds or hear them sing." -Eric Berne
That's so much tripe. Understanding only adds to an appreciation of nature. Besides any boy that can't tell the difference between a jay and a sparrow is really, really dim. And jays aren't much for singing anyway. :)
Agreed! Also, I've never heard a jay sing. I once heard one scream, but that's because it was fighting with a robin. The robin died. Jays can get nasty.
