Blood and other ramblings

Because I keep forgetting this, I am reminding myself that I am an AB+ blood type. Apparently rare and chameleon-like. Or something. Half Ashkenazi Jew and half Mediterranean means something something. Whatever. All I know is, that blood type diet fad thing doesn't work on me, so I just eat what I like.

Eating meat and consuming caffeine makes me feel good. Eating tofu makes me feel itchy and sick. Eating dairy makes me feel awesome. So, erm, right. Besides, blood does not govern how people eat. It's most likely a nice placebo effect. I do like some of the things they mention in that link; a bunch of it does actually fit me. But hmm. No. It still doesn't work that way.
I don't like when people insist that things be done This Way or That Way because something that has no bearing on my personal choices [a deity, a blood type, genetics, the planet, random opinion, the internet] said so.

Also, OMG, King Of Pita brand baklava. It has orange blossom water and rose water. It is like air and love with honey and nuts and filo dough. I am in love. It won't make me like walnuts, but it will make me tolerate them. It's baklava, baby. Now, if they replaced the walnuts with pistachios or almonds, it would be beyond perfect. I don't know why I don't like walnuts. But I agree with Andrew Zimmern. It's the texture. In baklava, it's okay because the walnuts are crushed and such. Maybe someday I will enjoy walnuts, but until then, I will tolerate them only in baklava. Mmmm, baklava.

Don't mind me. Migraine recovery will do this to a hypersensitive epileptic sometimes. Babbling randomly, I mean.
