Sag Harbor, Day Three

Nov 24, 2010 18:54

Slept in late. Went back into Sag Harbor, to Southampton town, back to Sag Harbor village for lunch. The Corner Bar, steamed mussels in garlic white wine sauce with toasted garlic bread. In Southampton, Adam and I bought several varities of flavored kombucha tea. We brewed a pitcher of moringa tea to drink with dinner, which was barbecue leftovers.

Tomorrow will be a quiet day, as we stay out of Mom's kitchen while she prepares the main Thanksgiving meals. It will just be the five of us; family friends will arrive for dessert.

I am still fatigued and achy, and have decided that this will happen no matter where I go. I did not bring any pain medication, so I've been stretching and meditating. Adam did buy a kava tincture along with the kombucha, for which I am grateful.

It's still beautiful out here.
