Move

Jan 24, 2009 00:49

Spin, spin, Soma rush. Adam and I both took one. He has been teaching me basic self defense moves used by the military ("Survival On The Battlefield" by Robert Spear). I can move, I can bend and slip and circle and strike, and my muscles don't clench or tense. This is my first Soma since last week, by the way. This is why I only take the drug on weekends. The rush is so intense, but it helps me move, and the aftereffects last for at least a day or two.
Charlotte and Billy will come in the morning to pick me up and we will go to the chiropractor's. Adam may come along, to see what it is like. Dr. Phil Romano is well-known, so much so that one of his six daughters went to the inauguration on Tuesday and missed the deadline at the gate by just a minute, but one of the guards recognized her as the daughter of his chiropractor and let her in.
Oh, my fingers, my fingers can move without pain, and my legs.
