I want to go see this movie! They had a huge neat write up on it in the Globe and Mail the other week. And I keep running into blogs about it. And they had a link to this trailer...

Its rated R in the states, but PG in Canada, and apparently only plays in ONE THEATRE IN ALL OF ONTARIO. And it is in Toronto. Woe! Its a bit of a hike to just see a movie, even if my mom does want to see it too. It looks all psychological and stunning. The music largely if not entirely appears to be the same style as for the soundtrack of Millenium Actress (same director too) which had very pretty music. One song in particular always made me feel like running, and has stuck in my mind for years now, and came with the most gorgeous sequence of animation as the characters transition through the different movie periods and scenes. Aptly named, the song was called 'Run'.
*scrounges YouTube* Awe, I was only able to find a black screen of the song, you can listen to it here:

Does this require Ruth to strap pencils to her feet?
... lets hope not.
[Psst, this seems to be the opening of the film!
More neat animations.]
