PJ is a Cousin, Dark Knightie and UFer who prefers "dark," so I
found this assignment extremely challenging. I aimed close to canon, hoping to achieve its openness to being read both ways; the crimes
solved in this tale are more disturbing than my usual, and some may find them
triggering, though all could have aired as written.
