I'm sitting in metro cafe in new York city typing this on my phone
its cold out. and though I once considered scarfs for "fags" I have now given into them and have discovered their helpfulness
new york hasn't really won me over. I dont dislike I just share the same thoughts on it that I did with LA it just felt like another city with a cool culture and shitty traffic. life does move much faster here, which I do like. its hard to take pictures on the sidewalk because people will yell "fuck you" or run into you.
I dont know I feel the need to express myslef and wish I had better things to say but its nothing I havent really seen before in movies, or in trips to other places.
I guess I was expecting that same feeling I got when I went to new Orleans for the first time. I was embracing a culture that opened its arms to me first. it warmed my heart with its people and music. here I dont feel outcastes, in fact, I feel like in fitting in comfortably...it's just not arousing.
