Oh d-izz-ear...my life.

I've been posting a lot lately. I'm not sure if this is good or bad as it is a reflection of all the extra time I've had on my hands. I am really busy but not at the same time. Geez, my life is so weird.

On that note, today was pretty ordinary. I slept in a bit again today while Dani went to the gym. I just couldn't get out of bed this morning. I suppose it was the impending sense of doom weighing me down. International Week is going to be sooooo bad. This year's preparations have been one disaster after another.

Anyways, as I was complaining to myself about said Iweek issues I realized that I had already missed fifteen minutes of my Dawson's Creek rerun! Dashing madly from the bed, I ran out into the living room and flipped on the tv. Today Pacey's gf is leaving for crazy treatment, Dawson is revealing his insecurities to Joey and Jen is moving in with Jack. Exciting stuff, isn't it? While the drama was unfolding before me, my cats and I were arguing over the countertops. I repeatedly have warned them that they are not allowed on the counter or in the sink. But do they listen? No!! So we waged war this morning over that and the leftover milk in my cereal bowl. I, however, emerged the victor and thus peace was once again established.

After Dawson's Creek ended, I contemplated the gym and then rationalized that I could go before or after work tomorrow and thus complete my 4-days-a-week minimum. I then hopped in the shower and did other getting-ready-for-the-day type activities while listening to my ususal mishmash of emo-punk, bad rap and j-rock songs. I have to say I loving putting Itunes on shuffle because then you never know what might come up next on your playlist. It could be Kiri by Monoral, Maybe Misery by Quietdrive or My Love by JT. Its quite exciting to say the least!

Then I went to class, did poorly on a quiz that I didn't read for because I thought that my previous knowledge of Jane Eyre was good enough to get me by. That'll teach me. Then I went back to the room for lunch and Megan and I finalized plans for the evening. We are going to see Blood and Chocolate which I am ELATED about seeing. Hot vampire/werewolf action. Woot.

At about this point in my day, I had an hour til work (which is where I am typing from!) and I heated up a hot pocket for lunch. I know this is all very exciting. Taki investigated the food closely which is a habit that I am trying to break both the cats of. However considering that the other roommates let them get away with murder (minus Dani of course!)...I don't know if the progress I make with them will do any good. However, its not really that important. What I really want them to learn is that my underwear is NOT A TOY/BED. I picked up a bra that was drying from its previous night's washing and there were kitty claw marks all over it. Can I just say that THAT is more upsetting than a kitty in the sink licking dirty dishes.

After lunch I journeyed to the Pryz for work. I talked to both Kenton and Dani about Iweek, then Chris about fabulous clothes and bailing on Casino Night (which he should do!) and the Yvonne about the Shake-a-thon. I can't believe she plans to be there for all 12 hours. Thats just nuts and unnecessary in my opinion. To begin with, the girl is sick, she has three tests to study for for the following week and she's volunteered to help with Iweek. I'm worried that she's stretching herself way too thin...that leads to mono and exhaustion and such.

Well, I suppose this post has gone on long enough. I hope that the weekend goes well and IWeek is successful.
