Rerooting woes

Tired tonight.  I spent most of the day rerooting a poor ultra long My Child who'd had her bangs chopped.  After a good eight hours today, she's no longer balding anywhere, but now I have to create the part between her bangs and the rest of her hair.  Tomorrow I'll be spending hours weaving that part and the one down the center of her head.  *sigh* After that, she needs a bath and her neck tightened before I can send her back to Delaware.  She's a rare redhead, and my friend bought her with a promise that she was mint.  They lied.  Jeanne spent over $300 on her, then had to send her to me for restoration.  Poor dolly.  She's spent the past few months having her chopped hair ripped out, then needles inserted in her head to put in new hair...

I've decided that I hate bangs.  I mean, to do them, you have to part out the first three rows of hair, yank out all the short stuff, then put in new hair in the empty plugs.  Now, you've got long and short hair on each row, so you have to weave it together so that the shorter stuff ends up at the front.  After it's weaved, it needs cut to length... at least the way I did it.  I mean, I left the hair long enough to cover her face so it'd be easier to work with when I was weaving it together.  I hope this works.  I really do.  It was a pain to figure out the right color mix of katsilk hair to start with.  My Child red isn't a stock color; I had it custom mixed...
