Er, I actually hadn't noticed I was doing that, but I guess when I throw something into a hard alternate universe, I like to find ways to subvert the "everyone here is evil" stereotype. Also, now I want there to be a dark, wood-paneled, smokey room somewhere that those versions of Mycroft, Pike, and Kirk can hang out and plot evil plots.
