After months, I finally have the conclusion of this series ready! Thanks for your patience over the last... three years (!!) as I've played in this AU. There are five parts (plus an epilogue), and I plan to post one every day or two until they're all up. Thanks for reading!

Man, seeing John, a free man, leaving Sherlock behind like that was so so satisfying, I do want them together and happy and I complete understand that Sherlock was beyond terrified that John would never want him if he wasn't a slave but he can be such a spoiled prick! Well, Sherlock having to work for something can only help him hehe
Lestrade and Mycroft are still such a mess, I'll be honest and say that I'm still not a hundred percent sure what was Mycroft's plan about, I get that the objective was for him to get away from the most visible parts of his rank but why he had to involve everyone he cared about like Sherlock and Greg and what was the plan exactly made me a little lost. I don't even know, did it work? Is the Empress mad at him?
What kills me reading a scene with those two is how Lestrade is such a "perfect" slave, lowering his eyes and expecting to be punished if he offer his opinion to Mycroft even if he's always brave enough to "risk it". Why does Mycroft just accept that instead of trying to tell Greg how he feels I don't know but that's why I always think those two are so much harder to "fix" than John and Sherlock.
