In My Master's House: Casting!
The summer heat is not conducive to writing or, really, anything other than just sitting in front of a fan, drinking water and whining.
But I just got a mini air-conditioner, so now one room of my apartment is a temperature-regulated haven of productivity! I've been hard at work on the next installment of In My Master's House, and I promise it's going to come out soon-ish. There are several pretty important OCs in this overgrown monster of an AU, plus a few canon characters who weren't cast in the show when I wrote them into my story.
To keep them straight in my head, I've done some fantasy casting. I present the entirely made-up cast of IMMH:
First, back in Believe Also in Me, we met the terrifyingly civilized baddies the Magnussens:
Idris Elba as Charles Augustus Magnussen (Sr.)
John Boyega as "Gus" Magnussen (Jr.)
Also in flashback mode, there's the personal slave who served the elder Lord Holmes, Sherlock and Mycroft's father, and remained in charge until Lestrade took over:
John Hurt as Jasper
Of course, we also have an ass-kicking guard in Lord Mycroft's household who's always on her game: Naomie Harris as Wood
In the next installment, you'll meet a long-suffering London street cop: Parminder Nagra as Constable Barrett
and
Of course, everyone's favorite sharp-shooter sidekick:
Michael Fassbender as Colonel Sebastian Moran
