Heehee. I LOVE The Dying Detective just for that moment, because the first time I read it I was so indignant for John, and I can't imagine this universe's John Watson letting that little stunt go lightly. In for a truly serious amount of shit, Sherlock is. Thanks for reading!

I love it, I think I have eye strain from trying to read the emails but I consider it worth it, a text only version would have removed half the fun, this was so much better.

Yes, I wanted to strike a happy medium between read-able text and not making the images too big for people reading on small screens, so sorry about the eye strain! But I'm glad it was fun!

This is AWESOME! I guessed the case when Sherlock dissed John's medical skills but seriously, the whole layout of texts and emails is just terrific. How did you do it? Glad 21st century Watson is less forgiving than his 19th century counterpart!

Heehee, the medical-skills dissing is my fave part of the original. I don't have any fancy graphics talents, so I did all this the hard way. (I know, I'm ruining the magic!) The texts are cobbled together from an iphone text generator, and I created dummy e-mail accounts and then manipulated screenshots to get the e-mails. But I had a fun time doing it. Glad you enjoyed the story!
