Decemberween! The busiest time of the fandom year. I’ve been so behind on fandom for months and months, but now that I have a real winter break (grad school does have some advantages!), I hope to be able to play a bit.

And now, something fun. ‘Tis the time of year when people post wish lists! So post something at your own journal-a list of anything fannish or non-fannish that your little heart may desire. You never know who might have it in their power to make your holiday wish come true.
My Wishlist:
• Art (illustrations, a cover, icons, whatever) for the In My Master’s House ‘verse.
• Podfic of any of my writing. kholly and speccygeekgrrl have done some great ones over the years, but I always love hearing a reader’s interpretation of a fic.
• Music or recommendations for music (I listen to Spotify a lot), or an iTunes gift card. I love hearing new things. To give you an example of my taste, I love everything from Broadway musicals and movie scores to acoustic folk to glam-pop. Today I'm listening to Pearl and the Beard, Josh Ritter, Federale, Robyn, and the score from Beasts of the Southern Wild.
• Images. I’m building up an inspiration folder of images (photos, paintings, gifs, etc.) that are fascinating, beautiful, mysterious, moving, puzzling, or uplifting. I use them all the time at school to communicate with designers (her costumes in Act Two should feel like this!). Plus I like to see what inspires people.
• Poetry. I really like poetry. Lately everything I’ve written has had its title from a poem. I know it’s pretentious! But I am at peace with that. If you have a favorite poem, please share.
• An HBO Go password so I can watch Game of Thrones. Seriously, I would pay money for episodes if it didn’t involve subscribing to cable just to get access to one show. I want to give you money, HBO! Why don’t you want my money?
• Fic! I love fic. So much. My favorite pairings and a few preferences are listed here, for inspiration. Also, see the ultra-specific prompts below.
AUs, Fusions, and Crossovers
• A Being Human UK/Sherlock BBC crossover. I just want to see these two worlds interact. Perhaps George comes to Sherlock with a problem? Or someone in the Sherlock gang is a vampire or werewolf, and they come across Michel or George? Perhaps lyco!Lestrade interrupts a gang of vampires beating up George? I’m a total Mitchel/George girl, but I’d also be happy with gen.
• A Sherlock/Elfquest fusion! Perhaps John and Lestrade are Wolfriders, and Sherlock and Mycroft belong to a different band of Elves (Sunfolk? Gliders?)
• Sherlock and John as Jedi knights or apprentices in the Phantom Menace era.
• Sherlock as an escaped Pretender.
• Supernatural/Star Trek: Dean Winchester/Jim Kirk. A bar fight that turns to sex, because that's how they both roll.
• Avengers/Heroes: One of the Avengers notices someone with a power, and has to decide whether s/he should be brought to the attention of SHIELD.
• Heroes/Star Trek: Christopher Pike/Nathan Petrelli. Nathan's a cadet at the academy, and has some disciplinary issues. Pike has to take him down a peg.
• Any kind of rentboy AU. I just can’t get enough of prostitutes. Er. You know what I mean.
• Or prison AU. Or boarding school AU. Or slave AUs. Oh my goodness I’m not addicted I can stop anytime shut up shut up!
Kinky Stuff
• Dub-con, non-con, consent issues (sex pollen, fuck or die, avoiding a worse fate via dub-con)
