I am not dead. I just spent the last several weeks winding down my old job, moving across the country, unpacking a new apartment, and starting school, which is a terrifying, exciting challenge. As Into the Woods says, "Although scary is exciting, nice is different than good."
I have been writing, though! In the midst of crazy business, fandom provides some stability. True story. The next installment of In My Master's House has topped 37k, and is entering the editing phase. It's only four months late.
In other news, I was thinking today about which of my favorite characters could get away with wearing cufflinks. I mean, nobody really needs to wear cufflinks, but they're kind of fun. Here's the list I came up with:
