common room drama
i love bryn mawr oddities. i love that a boy can come visit me after dropdown. i really love it when its a surprise. but the best part of all is that all of a sudden i have a million friends. let me explain.
I am sitting by the fire on the junior couches doing my latin homeowrk so i could go on my date with theresa when he walks up behind me and sits down next to me. huge smile bursts onto my face or should i say fayche because i'm a huge loser and i can't help it. we talk for a little while. virginia invites him to a concert. little awkwardness at being together in such a public place/playche. then who should walk up but my good friend (sarcasm!) christy, who i haven't had a real conversation with all year. she starts telling me a story. i stare at her blankly. THEN i realize that i am sitting next to a fairly attractive boy and that is the cause of her interaction. it spreads. soon jeannie is there. and julia dibos. it was crazy. everyone was talking to me and expected me to introduce him. i think he was a little intimidated. i'm not sure he fully understood the quirkyness of the junior couchs until today despite my numerous futile attempts to explain it to him.
i'm really excited for tomorrow. there is a possibility for a catfight or a verbal battle with amanda. then i'm seeing a movie with amanda and lizzie which i think will be a good combo and then its trifecta time for the first time in awhile. i miss it. can't wait. it should be total and complete fun, nonstop, 24/7. oh i am pysched.
