So Procrastinating with picspam
I'm still working on my ShAgathon fic. I know, it's way, way late, but I want it to be at least sort of decent. I feel especially bad, because I got TWO fics. Not Quite a Sucker, a smokin' hot Helo/Kara and Adjustments, which is Lee/Helo gen, but brings the angst like whoa. lyssie rocks!
I'm thinking about joining a local writer's group, because I need to do something. I'm not getting much inspiration by way of fanfic, so maybe I should try some origfic. We'll see.
I had a near brush with a very early morning exercise class. My hairdresser has been doing it, and she looks great after just four weeks. It's an hour every weekday morning, at the high school gym, and it's just really basic stuff like running, pull-ups, push-ups and so on. The only problem is, it goes from 5:30 until 6:30 am!!! I could handle even an hour later, but I don't want to set myself up for failure. A new class starts every four weeks, so maybe I'll try to do some stuff myself and work my way back to getting up super early. Hah!
In other news, I'm just not at the computer much these days, so tell me if there's anything going on in your life that I need to know about. We had Chinese New Year's here today in J-Ville, and it was nice. All of the businesses have red lanterns hanging along the front, there was a little parade this morning, and this afternoon a Chinese dance & opera troupe from San Francisco performed. It was a beautiful day for a street celebration, and I'm starting to feel more and more part of this place.
Also, I got my hair cut yesterday. See

. Nothing too exciting; same style, just shorter. Then I had to include
, posing in front of the mess he just made with the garbage, looking entirely unapologetic, as usual. Gia at least has the good sense to look at me sideways in a guilty fashion. Actually, she was so guilty I couldn't get her to look at the camera.
