Don't do sadness
I'M WATCHING SPRING AWAKENING NEXT WEEKEND! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was reading the news that it's closing on Broadway. I was sad. Until I got to the part about the national tour that starts in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
And then I checked the Los Angeles dates. And it opens on October 30. And I was like, "HOLY CRAP! I'M HERE! YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!1111ONE11!!!!!!!"
So I immediately set up a "play date" with Kylie. I have to ask my aunt if I can be free on November 1. That's also the day of Jason Mraz's gig here in L.A., too, which I was tempted to go to after I passed by the concert venue yesterday. But I'd rather go to Spring Awakening than Mraz...after all, I already saw Mraz in Manila the one time.
Kylie also noted that the Ahmanson Theater is near Little Tokyo.... =D

- If I can't find Royce Chocolate in Little Tokyo, and the Royce Chocolate store in Manila won't be open yet, I'll buy them in Hong Kong. There's a store near my hotel.
- My aunt isn't too happy about my traveling alone to Hong Kong. My dad doesn't care. But I honestly think I'll be fine. At least I'm just staying there overnight.
- Remember when I said in my last post when I said I didn't want to work here? I take it back. But if I do end up working here, I'd rather do it the legal way, of course.
- I get so dependent on coffee when I'm here in the US.
- A social worker had been here to reassess my grandma, after our request, after our stroke. We were hoping we could get an increase in her welfare, but no chance. Sigh. She's Filipino too, and she said she'll be voting for McCain.
- Finally reloaded my US iTunes Store account! Yay!
- I went to the nearby Ralph's and was disappointed that they didn't have Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream. =( Guess I'll have to go back to Whole Foods to get my fix.
Want: The Incredible Hulk on DVD!
Need: A bath
Worried for: My dad
Miss: Pancakes and waffles
Love: Los Angeles
Hate: That I can't stay here for too long. I actually want to stay 'til Thanksgiving. Darn you, Manics, why do you have to be in Asia that week? Can't you play in L.A. too?
