Cape Cod is absolutely beautiful and it's very peaceful. From the traffic you'd think that it would be much much busier but in reality because there're so many beaches and because it's a ( Read more... )

Aw thank you darling. How did Vampire Weekend get stuck in your head. ACTUALLY what is Vampire Weekend?

It is so gorgeous and I love it. It was really really relaxing. And somehow I escaped the deer flies that are now EVERYWHERE here. Dear god.

OH MY GOD HOW ARE YOU LIVING IN NEW ENGLAND

Vampire Weekend are this insanely hipster band, and therefore insanely popular- they write songs about how hard it is to be a trust fund bb in Massachusetts and whatever.

Anyway, listen:

I am an only child Milo...new music is often music that is actually a bit old that my parents have decided to listen to. Like Dave Rawlins Machine.

AH WELLFLEET. Oh Cape Cod. Very nice description, incredibly informative.

Uh Eva, I'm an only child toooooo. XD New music is music my friends listen to, or I find on iTunes, lol. Just like everyone else, what have you been doing all of these years?

(...wow, that sounds bitchy, now that it's written down. Just...read it in a joking tone of voice? :P)

I'm just not versed in the ways of finding new music. I'm already a little behind on OLDER music. IDK I'm pretty useless. I just feel a lot more isolated than others because I live in the middle of the field and have never known any of my neighbors...so yeah...I'm not sure what I'm trying to say. I'm accustomed to NOT knowing new stuff in the music business...

(and that was a little bitchy but I'll forgive you)

Aw, I get that. :)
I pretty much live on LastFM, I'm kinda a music freak, lol. You have crazy insane good taste in older music, though, which is awesome. :D

(sorry! I meant it jokingly. *HUGS* <3)

Unless you want recommendations, in which case...hahaha. Uh.

I don't have a negative scanner, and the good ones are A) EXPENSIVE AS FUCK and B) not compact enough to lug around. And the photo discs you can get from wherever it's developed are absolute shit. I'll get one as soon as I'm back, though! Never feaaar
