Loved the men's short tonight, y'all. Too bad I had class and couldn't watch/chat live. Some serious highs and serious lows. Still hate Plushenko.

I think Plushy was PISSED that Takahashi and Lysacek are SO CLOSE. He really thought this was going to be a runaway like 2006. To which I said..."Suck it, Plushy!" I hope he tries his 4-3-3 and gets downgraded or falls, and both of them pass him.

Oh, you KNOW he was mad. You could see it in the close-ups they kept doing of him. Ohhhh, I want nothing more than for him to lose. Hate. Haaaaaaaaaate.

I DESPISE him (give me Yagudin any day!) but if he does the quad-triple-triple, then...okay, I could see it.

And now I'm biting my nails because Takahashi wants to put in a quad. NO, YOU FOOL! Though, if he DOES manage to land it, and skates the rest of the program like he did his short, I will be first in line to burn the judges if they put Plushenko ahead of him.

Though my idea scenario is Plushy crashes and burns, Evan wins with a lovely clean program (where did that clean 3a entry come from?), Takahashi takes silver, and Oda, Lambiel, or Weir sneaks in for bronze. (Johnny medaling would take a mathematically miracle, but it could happen if Plushy, Oda, and Lambiel all bomb horribly.)

We missed you at chat. I hope we do it again -- we've got a lot more skating to go! (And Liz found an Australian feed that worked for awhile so we didn't have to listen to Bulgarian.)

I would love to do it again-- Tuesdays and Thursdays are just super bad timing for me because of dance class. Argh! Tomorrow is going to kill me. I may have to spoil myself as soon as I get home.
