It's somehow comforting to know that whatever random question pops into my head, Mr. Internet can answer it for me. For instance, I was curious about the Battlestar Galactica rank structure. (It was an offshoot of a train of thought involving SG-1, Star Trek, and real-life Army and Navy ranks.) I mean, you think "Commander Adama," and all the fighter-pilot Lieutenants, so, okay, Navy. But then you have Colonel Tigh and Captain Adama-- a much lower rank than Commander-- which is more Air Force/Army/Marines, and it was hurting my brain. So like a good little Internet addict, I flip open my laptop, type "rank in Battlestar Galactica" into Google, and the first thing that pops up is an entry on that very subject in
Ron Moore's official blog. And my question is answered in under fifteen seconds.
