lost island
I just got back from lost island, a water park in waterloo. I went with Sarah and Jake and had a surprising great time! The weather was cloudy and cool at first, but as the day progressed, it got warmer and sunnier. It was a perfect day to go there because it was cool at first and not many people want to swim making the lines for rides nonexistent. We went on all the slides at the park, some twice and some three times. My favorite slide was this slide that you had to ride on a tube. It was totally enclosed and I was sent down backwards! How fun! I also really liked one of the tallest slides in the park. You walked up 6 or 7 flights of stairs to get in a humongous tube that fits up to 5 people. It was like the saw mill splash but 100% better!
After spending a near 6 hours at the park, we drove home and went to Wig and Peg and ate entirely too much chicago style cheese pizza!
What a perfect day (*it would have been better with cyrus-he would have loved it!)
