This is the first time I've been online in my own house since last January. It's only dial-up, but it's the best I can do for now. I'm on a waiting list to get High Speed, but there is a limited number of ports (or something) available.
I went to school this morning at 6:00. By 6:30 I decided I was too sick to stay for the day. (Was I really?) So I came home and got some wonderful sleep. This evening I will be providing homebound services to a student who is on long-term suspension. I'm actually sort of enjoying it. We're reading The Giver, and he's writing an essay on heroes of the rodeo. Tomorrow I will be helping proctor the ACT at my school for a little extra cash. . . and of course, the good of the children. Tomorrow night hold the joys and wonders of a teacherage pumpkin-carving party. Oh my!
Neither professor scolded me this week. I think they both like me. Nice.
