1) 4 invites 3 and 8 to dinner at their house. What happens?
Emalda invites Adrian and Jenny to dinner in her spaceship. Adrian would probably be rather nervous and he’s not too observant so he’d take a while to notice that his host wasn’t exactly human. He’d be too embarrassed or awkward to say anything though and Emalda would steadfastly ignore his discomfort because she wouldn’t know how else to deal with it. Jenny would be forthright about asking questions, to the point that there would be a mini-confrontation (both of them shouting down Adrian) until Ben came home to spread the peace.
2) 9 tries to get 5 to go to a strip club...
Judith, the psychiatrist: “Think of it as an exploration of our natural sexuality. We should not be ashamed of our bodies or of our attraction to them.”
Amilyn, an immortal Lycan from the 1950s:, “Justify it how you like but, in my day, we didn’t make excuses for dirty minds. Go away.”
3) You need to stay at a friend’s house for the night. Do you chose 1 or 6?.
Um, I would chose the sweet but slightly hopeless Austrian police officer, Wimmer, over the misogynistic ex-con, Wolf Hajek (even if I am inexplicably fond of him).
4) 2 and 7 are making out. 10 walks in... Their reaction?
The Duchess and Johnson are making out when Colonel Richard Hanson walks in.
Colonel: “Oh, sorry, ladies.”
He’d walk out straight out and go home to his boyfriend, Harry. He wouldn’t think twice about it because both women look human despite being a Time-Lord and Lycan, respectively. Also, even if the Colonel was bisexual and sometimes found women attractive, he’s far too much the old-fashioned gentleman to make comment on it or hang around and watch - just as well since Johnson is likely to maul him if he makes a flippant comment. Happily, the Duchess and Johnson get to move on to things far more interesting than making out.
5) 3 falls in love with 6. 8 is jealous. What happens?
Adrian falls in love with Wolf. Jenny is jealous.
Clearly, Adrian and Wolf somehow meet through mutual acquaintances in the police force as Adrian’s ex-boyfriend and Wolf’s son are both cops. Perhaps Wolf and his son are temporarily visiting America for an investigation. Wolf may accept Adrian as part of the generally embarrassing paraphernalia associated with his son’s profession. He’d take a while to notice Adrian’s feelings and then be generally mean-spirited about it. He’d only refrain from punching Adrian because of his son’s disapproval. Jenny would be surprised at how jealous she is and try desperately to convince Adrian that he deserves better. After Wolf left to return to Austria, she’d eventually help Adrian move on and fall a little bit in love with him despite the fact that he’d never think of her as more than a friend.
6) 4 jumps you in a dark alleyway. Who comes to your rescue? 10, 2 or 7?
Emalda jumps me in a dark alleyway, trying to be threatening but her hand is shaking on the gun. Colonel Hanson would come dashingly to my rescue and try and talk her into putting the gun down. The Duchess would start to come to my rescue but then recognise Emalda as an alien and take her on as a charity case. Johnson would keep walking, and avoid so many humans. (Unless she recognises the Duchess as the woman she was making out with earlier and then she’d come in and threaten me and the Colonel, who are clearly threatening her lover).
7) 1 decides to start a cooking show. 15 minutes later what is happening?
During Wimmer’s first attempt, the studio catches fire. Everyone evacuates except for one of the camera-men who is trapped underneath a fallen beam. Wimmer goes back inside to provide first aid and gets trapped as well. Moser and Rex manage to free them both from the burning building and the camera-man only survives because of Wimmer’s expert care. Wimmer and the camera-man fall madly in love and run off into the sunset, and a bemused Moser finds someone else incompetent to yell at. Rex is inspired to try his hand (paw) at cooking and makes a mess in Moser’s kitchen.
8) 5 is in a car crash and is critically injured. What does 9 do?
Amilyn is hit by a truck and critically injured. Judith stops to help and calls an ambulance. She sits with Amilyn and tries to help her. Amilyn doesn’t want any medical attention because it might be found out that she’s not human. A concerned Judith does her best to talk to her and check up on Amilyn’s condition later in the hospital. Amilyn recognises Judith as that weird human who tried to talk her into going to a strip club and jumps out the fourth story window at the earliest opportunity. Judith reports the bizarre incident to her husband, the head of MI5, but no trace of the Lycan woman is ever found.
9) 3 has to marry either 8, 4 or 9. Who do they chose?
Adrian loves his boyfriend but must marry someone else for legal reasons. Judith Pearce is already married and in the U.K. Emalda is an alien travelling out in the galaxy and deeply in love with someone else. So he asks Jenny for a marriage of convenience. Jenny has been in love with Adrian for years and agrees, adding to a whole new level of unrequited love angst and developing a resentment of Adrian’s current boyfriend.
10) 7 kidnaps 2 and demands something from 5 for 2's release. What is it?
Johnson kidnaps the Duchess and demands something from Amilyn for her release. Johnson convinces Amilyn that the Duchess could turn her back into a human but demands that Amilyn keep her up to date on what Lucian and Morgan are up to. While Amilyn is collecting whatever intelligence she can, the Duchess attempts to come up with some kind of solution to make Amilyn more human (or at least fool her temporarily). Johnson keeps interrupting her efforts by propositioning her in corridors. The Duchess doesn’t try very hard to escape because she’s enjoying the attention.
11) You get to meet either 1 or 6. Who do you chose?
Similar to earlier, I would chose Wimmer over Wolf. I specifically wrote Wolf to be the kind of person that I would not like to meet in real life. His only real redeeming feature is that he loves his son, even if they don’t always get on.
12) 10 challenges 4 to a chariot race. Why?
The local village is having a fair. Colonel Hanson is participating enthusiastically in everything that’s going on. Emalda is hiding out on Earth, pretending to be human. Colonel Hanson is doing his best to get others involved and cheerfully insists that Emalda takes part. The Colonel’s boyfriend, Harry, has met aliens before and is soon suspicious of Emalda’s identity. Emalda surprises everyone by actually enjoying herself and Harry decides to keep his suspicions to himself.
13) Everyone gangs up on 3. Does 3 have a chance in hell?
Poor Adrian folds like a pack of cards at the first sign of a harsh word.
14) Everyone is invited to 2 and 10 wedding except for 8. How do they react?
The Duchess and the Colonel agree to get married for legal reasons, because they are both in same-sex relationships with other people. Jenny really doesn’t know or care much about the couple getting married but she’s suspicious about why she’s been excluded. She eventually discovers that she wasn’t invited because there were concerns that as a Slayer she would go after the Duchess’ Lycan lover, Johnson.
15) Why is 6 afraid of 7?
Wolf is quite reasonably afraid of Johnson as she is violent werewolf who will kill humans if she thinks she can get away with it. He has a less rational fear of her as some kind of reincarnation of his dead ex-wife.
16) 10 gathers everyone around to tell them a fairy tale. How does it go?
The Colonel rather optimistically gathers everyone around him to tell the story of Red Riding Hood, unaware that his audience includes two aliens, two werewolves and a vampire slayer. The two werewolves, Amilyn and Johnson, are unimpressed and quickly make transparent excuses so that they can leave. The slayer, Jenny, gets suspicious of their reactions and makes her own excuses so that she can follow them. The Duchess grew up on Earth so she already knows the story and is anxious to move on (secretly, she would like to drag Johnson into an empty closet somewhere). The Duchess makes extremely believable excuses and leaves with a promise to get in touch with the Colonel some time in the future and she actually intends to.
Emalda has never been to Earth before but isn’t interested in listening until Judith suggests that the fairytale might be an interesting basis for interpretive dance. They soon end up in a private discussion of the symbolism involved in the story and the more traditional forms of the story. Wimmer and Adrian are charmed by the Colonel’s story-telling, though Wimmer’s English isn’t very good so the other two spend some time clarifying the parts of the story. Wolf is bored and bad-tempered but his English is worse than Wimmer’s so he is compelled to stick around as long as Wimmer is interested, ducking out every now and then to smoke.
17) 1 arrives late for 2 and 10's wedding. What happens? And why are they late?
Wimmer arrives late for the Duchess and the Colonel’s wedding because he was running errands for Wolf’s son. He is very apologetic. The Colonel doesn’t mind but the Duchess is rather insulted and convinces one of the drunk bridesmaids that Wimmer is interested in her. The bridesmaid chases Wimmer around and won’t accept no for an answer. In an attempt to flee, he knocks over several tables and causes a big scene but redeems himself by resuscitating one of the guests when they have a heart-attack.
18) 5 and 9 get roaring drunk and end up at your house. What happens?
Amilyn’s so drunk she forgets to act human and Judith promptly gets her to confess to being a werewolf. Judith is sceptical until Amilyn bites her while I run for the hills.
19) 3,8,6 and 4 all go to the zoo for 8's birthday party. How does it go? What presents do they get 8?
Adrian, Jenny, Wolf and Emalda all go to the zoo for Jenny’s birthday party. Wolf doesn’t bother to talk to anyone and sits around in the shade, dropping rubbish into the penguin pond. He doesn’t bother to buy a present for Jenny. Emalda does her best to be nice but she really doesn’t like the crowds and eventually goes to keep Wolf company. He tries a couple of put-downs but she can’t understand German so it doesn’t bother her. She buys Jenny a pair of sturdy boots, which Jenny actually finds rather useful. Adrian and Jenny have a great day, wandering about and looking at the animals. Adrian buys Jenny the best camera that he can afford and the two take lots of stupid photos.
20) Everyone gets together and start protesting something outside of your house. What are they protesting? What do you do?
They are protesting the number of unfinished stories I have written, many of which they are involved in. I sit down and start writing, after spending half an hour debating which one to start with.
21) 9 murders 2’s best friend. What does 2 do to get back at them?
As a newly-turned werewolf, Judith inadvertently kills Edwald who is the Duchess’ closest companion. The Duchess tracks her down and traps her, threatening to kill her. When she realises that the death was accidental, she takes Judith to Johnson so that the older werewolf can teach her self-control. The Duchess creates an orchard in Edwald’s memory, converting one of the TARDIS’ rooms.
22) 6 and 1 are in mortal danger. Only one of them can survive. Does 6 save themself or 1?
Wolf goes to save himself and at the last moment thinks about what his son would say. He changes his mind and just barely saves Wimmer instead. He dies despite Wimmer’s best efforts, cursing and insulting Wimmer.
23) Which one of them is most likely to fail at life?
Definitely Adrian. It’s not his fault, he’s just too sensitive and innocent. Wimmer is similarly sensitive but has the training of a police-officer and a medic to fall back on in an emergency. The others are all either extremely competent or stubborn enough to make up for it.
24) 5 is trapped in a cave. 10 comes to rescue them. What happens?
Amilyn is trapped in a cave. Colonel Hanson comes to rescue her. Amilyn thinks he’s rather useless as she didn’t really need rescuing but Colonel Hanson has good and gentlemanly manners so she feels obliged to be polite and thanks him formally. As soon as his back is turned, she disappears.
25) 3 starts a day camp. What happens?
Adrian starts a day camp... and it’s successful. He’s found a new calling in life and gets on well with the kids, even if some of the parents do push him around occasionally.
26) 4,6, and 7 are doing the Hokey-Pokey. 8 walks in. What happens?
Emalda, Wolf and Johnson are doing the Hokey-Pokey. Jenny walks in.
Wolf and Emalda have struck up a tentative friendship based on their lack of language and general lack of social skills. In a fit of friendliness, Emalda invites Johnson to join them. Wolf isn’t happy about it but can’t explain that to Emalda properly. Johnson speaks German though and joins in, mostly to spite Wolf. Jenny walks in and stands there blinking in surprise for a while, distracted from the fact that Johnson is a werewolf. Johnson realises Jenny is there and flees, with Jenny giving chase. Emalda and Wolf are both very confused but get back to doing the hokey-pokey.
27) 1 starts to write a fan-fiction where 9 and 10 are going out. What is 2's reaction?
Wimmer starts to write a fan-fiction where Judith and Colonel Hanson are going out. Still sour about him being late to the wedding, the Duchess pretends to be insulted that he’s writing a story where her own husband is dating another married woman. Secretly, she’s rather amused as the marriage is really a sham with Colonel Hanson seeing his long-term boyfriend Harry and the Duchess is having a love affair with the werewolf Johnson, who has just taken in the newly-turned werewolf, Judith. She doesn’t tell Wimmer any of this, though, and lets him think she’s mortally offended. He stammers and makes it up to her by making her dinner, without burning down the house.
28) 7 makes an apple pie. Is it any good?
Great - if you’re a werewolf. She mixes in raw meat with the apple which means that the non-werewolves won’t even go near it because of the smell. Amilyn condescends to eat it but won’t admit to liking it. Judith can’t believe how much the smell makes her drool.
29) 8 and 3 go camping. For some reason they forget to bring any food. What do they do?
Jenny and Adrian go camping and forget to bring any food. Adrian has been practicing being prepared while running the day camp, so he sets up base camp while Jenny uses her survival training to get them food.
30) While they are camping, they run into The Blair Witch. What do they do?
Adrian freaks and hides in his tent. Jenny fights it (?) off and then pulls Adrian out of his tent. They sit around the camp-fire and take photos with the camera Adrian bought her for her birthday.
31) The quiz is over. What does everyone go to do now?
Wolf (having miraculously survived being dead) goes back to Austria and resumes his attempts to convince his son that he’s not a complete waste of time. Given that Wimmer’s life was saved by Wolf, Wolf talks Wimmer into putting in a good word with the son. Wimmer manages to be slightly more competent as a police officer. The Duchess continues travelling but keeps returning to Kalgoorlie to carry on an affair with Johnson. Adrian and his boyfriend continue to be happy despite his sham marriage to Jenny. He considers Jenny his best friend and does his best to set her up with guys. Emalda thinks that most of the planet Earth is a waste of time and goes back to searching for her mother. Amilyn continues being a Lycan and never smiles. Johnson continues to sullenly lead her pack but perks up her ears whenever she hears a TARDIS dematerialising. Jenny continues her unrequited love for Adrian for years but as a slayer, she has plenty of opportunity to take her frustration out on the vampires and demons she encounters. Judith’s life is forever changed as she is now a werewolf and she fakes her death to protect her husband and daughter. She goes to live with Johnson in Australia. Colonel Hanson happily continues his semi-retirement, living with his boyfriend, Harry, and none the wiser for the experience.
Wow, that was a lot of bizarre situations but they were a lot of fun :)

They are protesting the number of unfinished stories I have written, many of which they are involved in. I sit down and start writing, after spending half an hour debating which one to start with.
21) 9 murders 2’s best friend. What does 2 do to get back at them?
As a newly-turned werewolf, Judith inadvertently kills Edwald who is the Duchess’ closest companion. The Duchess tracks her down and traps her, threatening to kill her. When she realises that the death was accidental, she takes Judith to Johnson so that the older werewolf can teach her self-control. The Duchess creates an orchard in Edwald’s memory, converting one of the TARDIS’ rooms.
22) 6 and 1 are in mortal danger. Only one of them can survive. Does 6 save themself or 1?
Wolf goes to save himself and at the last moment thinks about what his son would say. He changes his mind and just barely saves Wimmer instead. He dies despite Wimmer’s best efforts, cursing and insulting Wimmer.
23) Which one of them is most likely to fail at life?
Definitely Adrian. It’s not his fault, he’s just too sensitive and innocent. Wimmer is similarly sensitive but has the training of a police-officer and a medic to fall back on in an emergency. The others are all either extremely competent or stubborn enough to make up for it.
24) 5 is trapped in a cave. 10 comes to rescue them. What happens?
Amilyn is trapped in a cave. Colonel Hanson comes to rescue her. Amilyn thinks he’s rather useless as she didn’t really need rescuing but Colonel Hanson has good and gentlemanly manners so she feels obliged to be polite and thanks him formally. As soon as his back is turned, she disappears.
25) 3 starts a day camp. What happens?
Adrian starts a day camp... and it’s successful. He’s found a new calling in life and gets on well with the kids, even if some of the parents do push him around occasionally.
26) 4,6, and 7 are doing the Hokey-Pokey. 8 walks in. What happens?
Emalda, Wolf and Johnson are doing the Hokey-Pokey. Jenny walks in.
Wolf and Emalda have struck up a tentative friendship based on their lack of language and general lack of social skills. In a fit of friendliness, Emalda invites Johnson to join them. Wolf isn’t happy about it but can’t explain that to Emalda properly. Johnson speaks German though and joins in, mostly to spite Wolf. Jenny walks in and stands there blinking in surprise for a while, distracted from the fact that Johnson is a werewolf. Johnson realises Jenny is there and flees, with Jenny giving chase. Emalda and Wolf are both very confused but get back to doing the hokey-pokey.
27) 1 starts to write a fan-fiction where 9 and 10 are going out. What is 2's reaction?
Wimmer starts to write a fan-fiction where Judith and Colonel Hanson are going out. Still sour about him being late to the wedding, the Duchess pretends to be insulted that he’s writing a story where her own husband is dating another married woman. Secretly, she’s rather amused as the marriage is really a sham with Colonel Hanson seeing his long-term boyfriend Harry and the Duchess is having a love affair with the werewolf Johnson, who has just taken in the newly-turned werewolf, Judith. She doesn’t tell Wimmer any of this, though, and lets him think she’s mortally offended. He stammers and makes it up to her by making her dinner, without burning down the house.
28) 7 makes an apple pie. Is it any good?
Great - if you’re a werewolf. She mixes in raw meat with the apple which means that the non-werewolves won’t even go near it because of the smell. Amilyn condescends to eat it but won’t admit to liking it. Judith can’t believe how much the smell makes her drool.
29) 8 and 3 go camping. For some reason they forget to bring any food. What do they do?
Jenny and Adrian go camping and forget to bring any food. Adrian has been practicing being prepared while running the day camp, so he sets up base camp while Jenny uses her survival training to get them food.
30) While they are camping, they run into The Blair Witch. What do they do?
Adrian freaks and hides in his tent. Jenny fights it (?) off and then pulls Adrian out of his tent. They sit around the camp-fire and take photos with the camera Adrian bought her for her birthday.
31) The quiz is over. What does everyone go to do now?
Wolf (having miraculously survived being dead) goes back to Austria and resumes his attempts to convince his son that he’s not a complete waste of time. Given that Wimmer’s life was saved by Wolf, Wolf talks Wimmer into putting in a good word with the son. Wimmer manages to be slightly more competent as a police officer. The Duchess continues travelling but keeps returning to Kalgoorlie to carry on an affair with Johnson. Adrian and his boyfriend continue to be happy despite his sham marriage to Jenny. He considers Jenny his best friend and does his best to set her up with guys. Emalda thinks that most of the planet Earth is a waste of time and goes back to searching for her mother. Amilyn continues being a Lycan and never smiles. Johnson continues to sullenly lead her pack but perks up her ears whenever she hears a TARDIS dematerialising. Jenny continues her unrequited love for Adrian for years but as a slayer, she has plenty of opportunity to take her frustration out on the vampires and demons she encounters. Judith’s life is forever changed as she is now a werewolf and she fakes her death to protect her husband and daughter. She goes to live with Johnson in Australia. Colonel Hanson happily continues his semi-retirement, living with his boyfriend, Harry, and none the wiser for the experience.
Wow, that was a lot of bizarre situations but they were a lot of fun :)
