Mr. Petti makes me believe that it'll be alright and it'll be ok. I went to see the Hylozoists and Cuff the Duke play for the first time last week, and I think they're just those bands you have to hear live. They have this incredible energy and love for the music that gets conveyed to all the people in the audience. And not only do the Hylozoists play dressed all in white, but Wayne Petti plays on a keyboard with duct tape (as seen above) and can work a mean tune on the harmonica. Plus he reminds me of Ben Folds...
I'm really frustrated that Youtube is being a shit and not uploading the video I took at the concert. There's so much junk on that website and they can't upload the music wonderfulness that is CTD? I don't understand. Speaking of, I got mildly intoxicated at a get-together I had with profs in my program and I went on a shpeel with one of my professors about Youtube. I was saying how it's part of this wave of new internet trends which is making media more accessible and evening the playing field and... Oh my. I think I related it to socialism or communism or wow... I guess they're just asking for it when they offer free alcohol at these things.
