It was nothing. Sorry I couldn't do anything.

That depends on why you're asking. You haven't lost one, have you?

It was more than nothing.

No, although some people did during that last curse. Not to mention it being a handy thing to just generally know.

Hey Clow, the universe didn't end while I wasn't paying attention, did it?

Mm, I heard. It's good that they... recovered, but it is probably wise to cover all bases.

Attaching the limbs is really the hardest part, though.

Not as far as I'm aware. Are you concerned about the clock, too?

And there's apparently some people still who could use the help right now. I can actually attach severed limbs myself. But I can't regrow what's no longer there.

It just belatedly hit me. I guess I was rather distracted with... other things, when it happened. I suppose there goes the universe ends when the clock stops theory.

Mn. When you reattach a limb, does it matter how long it has been since it was severed?

Well, if portals to the other universes had been open, we could well have caused the destruction of most of their inhabitants.

It's not something I'm normally called on to do, but yes, the timing would be important.

With the clock stopping? The new people still coming in seem to indicate that the homeworlds are all still fine, at least.

But if it's done promptly, the person has full use of the severed limb?

That, too.

They should be, yes. I have pretty powerful healing magic, in my way.

. . . . I suppose this might call for another trip Underground. Not that I'd have any better clue what I'm looking at this time.

and suddenly he becomes five years old the minute you mention the underground. i_themagician December 23 2008, 05:24:34 UTC
It's better than mine, it sounds like. I usually have to grow new limbs in a vat and then hope that all goes well when I attach them.

... Can we go tomorrow?

[ooc: which reminds me; time to upload kiddy icons. >>]

... with that curse, I thought you might've meant that literally XD; bright_shield December 23 2008, 05:29:36 UTC
Really? But it sounds like you can replace what's been completely lost that way. What about eyes?

Oh sure, if you don't mind a quick trip? I need to pick out a tree with my sister.

if you want, I COULD do that. |D i_themagician December 23 2008, 06:18:33 UTC
It's definitely not healing magic, though.

It depends on whose eyes. Sometimes they simply can't be replaced; other times it might be more trouble than it's worth.

It can wait if you'd rather.

*rotfl* Go for it, if you'd like! XD; bright_shield December 23 2008, 06:26:39 UTC
Oh? What would you call it then? The one who's interested in the eye is Lockon. It looks like an old wound, however.

If you'd like to take your time, the day after, perhaps?

I might, later |D i_themagician December 23 2008, 07:13:06 UTC
I think I'd call it cloning.

Ahh. Well, it's bad form to solicit customers, but I'll definitely keep him in mind.

Because obviously there's not enough brain breakage going on! XD; bright_shield December 23 2008, 07:29:25 UTC
Ah, I don't really know much about that besides hearing the word now and then.

All right. He is looking and I said I'd pass on anyone that I found. Although it looks like they're mostly not in the city anymore.
