Well, the shops down there tend to offer things that the vendors on the surface don't... the best weaponsmiths are down there. Although that's probably not the area we'll be wandering in. Some people go down there to train too.

They need it to lure people down there... it can be kind of dangerous otherwise.

I think Nanami would chew my head off if I tried to replace my Twin Destiny Fang, but it can't hurt to have things for back-up.

Besides considering how much it was specifically tailored for me, I doubt any other weapon would work as well. If only I hadn't sealed it's rune away.

I've used a sword, here and back home. And a bunch of other weapons while I was at it. But I'm far better at the tonfa than anything else.

Well, it certainly can't hurt to try-- I've even tried my hand at some of the guns they have here-- especially considering the weird circumstances we're shoved into at times. But it's really not high up my priority list, at least no where near as high as improving with my runes and martial arts.
