Lesson of the Day : Have I Mentioned That Curses Suck?
Things I Have Learned Because of the Curses
* Always carry around pen and parchment, so I don't have to write messages in blood again
* Whoever said that there are no stupid questions obviously never came to this place
* Don't bring all your coins to the casino during a bad luck curse
* Don't try using the stairs during a bad luck curse
* . . . . or the subway
* . . . . don't even bother getting out of bed
* . . . . even if the bed collapses under you
* . . . . into the apartment below.
* If some kind of food starts randomly appearing around the city, don't eat it for the love of god, the devil, everything that is holy and unholy, your parents real or adopted, your second cousin Bob and sanity's sake.
* Addendum to the above : Trying to quell a riot over ho hos(?) is Not Fun.
* Don't drink the water here. Just don't. If it comes out of a spigot, sink, fountain, or whatever then it can't be trusted not to turn you into a zombie, send you bouncing off the walls or randomly turn into beer or blood. And sometimes tentacled things will crawl out of it. Bottled water is somewhat safer. Somewhat.
* Be careful what you wish for. Like hire a lawyer to go over the fine details and look for the tiniest loophole careful
* Within the depths of my future there is... bleach and silk, apparently. Yeah, I have no idea what that means either. I'd be content just knowing what waits for me in the present, never mind the future.
* The phrase 'that day never happened' comes quite in handy
* I am going to end up in the fountain and break the tablet. I don't know when, I don't know how, I don't know why, but I just am.
Which reminds me, are there any potion masters or such out there who'd be able to duplicate a healing potion? Or anyone else who can ward an apartment?
