Police Report 1 (#205)
Excerpt From Police Report #205, Filed Early This Morning At the Prison/Police Headquarters
Summary : At 12:53AM December 27, city time, a call for help went out across the network regarding an attack in progress outside of the Opera House from Ahiru (opera house resident.) Arriving on the scene, found Fakir (also resident of the opera house) prostrate on the building's steps. The victim had been eviscerated, innards scattered across the immediate area.
Outside of Fakir, Ahiru appears to be the only witness to the attack, which was described as an unknown blonde man skewering Fakir through the stomach with his bare hand and then momentarily disappearing with the body. A scream alerted Ahiru to this and was viewed through one of the building's windows. The body was dropped upon the Opera House's steps upon Ahiru's reaching them.
A sword, later identified as belonging to Fakir, was found folded in half in a blood soaked area of snow a little way outside of the Opera House and is believed to be the scene of the original attack. Outside of the hole through the stomach, Fakir seemed to have injuries that might indicate a fall from a great height. It may be that the assailant flew or climbed the side of the building to drop Fakir where he was eventually found.
Shizune (ninja healer) confirmed Fakir's death and, with no other contact with other city watch members at the time and with the worry that the attacker may still have been present, Fakir was moved inside the Opera House.

Edit : Fakir's Eyewitness Report
Upon reawakening Fakir has disclosed that while he received a good look, he was unable to recognize his attacker. His attacker, who's main objective at the time appeared to be entering the Opera House for unknown reason, however showed previous knowledge of Fakir's protective nature around said building. This seems to indicate that the attacker is not a completely new arrival to the city, but a previously hidden threat or perhaps a shape shifter.
