As to the library... the trick is supposedly to be looking for the opposite of what you're really looking for. Or not thinking about what you're really looking for. Or...

My tablet... not really, alas. It's literally cracked. I may have to get a new one... and it's already my eighth one! And I haven't even been here two months yet! Good god, I've been here that long...

I think it's because I keep bringing the tablets everywhere I go and... it's a long story. They all met different demises. There's the one that got soaked in that blood curse, and the one that I threw at Luca, and the one that ended up at the bottom of the lake, and the one that I destroyed as a dragon...

Umm... I'd suggest looking for something you shouldn't be looking at (so that you don't find it?), but that never really seemed to work with me...
