dizzy, sick and shot a thousand times
Went to a LAN party my friend Pi had arranged at his job, we were 11 or 12 people playing PC games, -mostly fps- which I normally don't play at all, I find it uncomfortable compared to slouching on my bed with a DualShock. ;)
Naturally, I was crap at it, too, getting to grips with the controls took quite some time and when someone brought out FlatOut and expected me to manoeuver a car with the arrow keys I howled... Everyone was nice though, allowing for my limited experience.
At about 9 pm I quit, feeling too motion sick(what with the rapid moving around on the screen not corresponding to my sitting still in a chair-it happens very easily) to go on, and Pi's girlfriend Nina showed up. She was supposed to drive to a party somewhere but her car broke down on the motorway, the engine was boiling. So the last one or two hours I spent talking to her.
Got home at around midnight, switched on my computer, made a cup of tea, ate the last of my ice cream... spent a couple of hours in the company of my net friends.
