Dark and dead it is. There are very few people here.
I cannot rightly say where this place is, my lady. Each of us has come here in the same manner as you, but we have taken to calling it World's End, or hell, as some would say.
There is one temple here, well, perhaps two. However, the one in the graveyard is best avoided and the one most call a church is currently inhabited by a rather unpleasant sort.
Less than one hundred, but more than half of that. We are not a large group by any means.
Good. Are you armed? There are creatures here that would prey on us if they gained the opportunity.
Not with a weapon, no, but I think I will be alright. Have you seen a man with a red and blue scarf? He has a long sword and a gauntlet on his left hand.
There are others, two buildings called the school and the hospital respectively. They will call to you, try to lure you inside, if you are near them. Do not enter, for they will only drive you mad. Or worse.
Much of my life passed on the rooftops of cities. I suppose I am much more used to crowded streets and markets.
[Weary.]
If you are sure. Unfortunately, I have not, and he may not be here, though you are. None of those I was with before I arrived here had turned up.
No doubt you are cold. I can show you to a warm place to say, if you would like.
Babylon is like that now, I fear. Most of her people are dead. But we--they will rebuild.
I am sorry, but I will keep an eye out for him.
It is Winter, yes. If you tell me where you are, I can bring you shoes and something to warm you. A woman here, Zelda, has lead work to restore some of the buildings for shelter. I can take you to them as well.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it would seem you are no longer in your own lands anymore.

If I am no longer in my homeland, then where am I?

At least I know I'm not alone this time. How many people are here?
No, I am not, thank you.

Still...the numbers are better than I expected.

My city once had many people in it, but they have all gone over the years. I am used to the quiet and emptiness.
Maybe he didn't come with me.
Is it winter here, or has the Corruption come to this world as well? I'm not used to so much snow and cold. Do you have any shoes, perhaps?

I am in front of a fountain, if that helps you.
