~*Holidays*~
Hello! 'bout time that I updated, methinks, considering I've been back at uni for three days now. Tis so good to be back, especially as we'll be a complete flat again by tonight - yay :)
I had a nice couple of weeks at home. Went way too quickly for my liking, but heigh-ho. Just trying to think what I actually did with myself all that time. Not a lot, to be honest. But was lovely to be at home, and to be cooked for and looked after: something I definitely miss when i'm at uni. Spent a fair bit of time working on my dissertation (boo :( ), but at least it's done now: I've even got it bound and handed in - is such a glorious feeling to have it out of the way.
Highlight of the holidays for me though was that I went to see Emma (v good friend who used to go to South Street Baptist when I was in first year) at her place in Hammersmith :). She has a really lovely, teeny-tiny studio flat now, and she cooked for me (vegetable stir-fry, with home-made sauce..yum :P )and we had a good, long chat that evening :). The next day we went into London: Em wouldn't tell me why! Was very intrigued, but had no idea what she had planned... V excited though, when I found out - we went on a flight on the London Eye. :D. Was a clear day, and we could see for miles - magic :) So cool:). We had a picnic lunch together too in Enbankment Gardens, before I had to head home. I love spending time with Em; am so glad that I went :).
I came back to Exeter on Thursday, and am now chugging away again at my coursework, which has to be handed in next Friday (so I really *am* chugging away at it). Can't believe it is the last (non-exam) essay I will write on my course - I can still well remember struggling over the first! Ah well. Speaking of coursework, I probably should get back to it.
