She's hurt Jack.

She's hurt him and she knows this, tried to take his eyes out and tried to tell herself that it was Frost and he deserved it but it was Jack all along, wasn't it? At least partly. And the body was his always, she knew that, and she's not sure what she's done except that everything was going so well and now it's not. Now, she's not sure she can face him again, face the bar.

So she wanders instead. The fires are banked and low and she's cold, hands jammed in her pockets, curled over herself as she walks. Eventually she realizes that the longer she says out the more cold she is and also that she's standing in front of a familiar apartment, so.

It's noy so much longer that she's knocking on his door.
